Revoway — Auto Transport Logistics Platform (Website + Quote Engine + Admin Panel)
Strategic focus · US auto transport platform — zero to digital: quote engine, payment integration, admin panel
Built Revoway's entire digital operation from scratch — a 3-step automated quote engine with Google Distance API + vehicle identification API pricing, Authorize.net bidirectional payment sync, a full order-management admin panel, and an SEO headless CMS blog. 35% conversion rate on a product that didn't exist before.

The problem
Revoway was operating as a US auto transport company with no digital product. Customers got quotes through phone calls, manual processes were slow, pricing was inconsistent, and there was no way to manage orders, track status, or handle payments without direct human involvement at every step. The business was losing potential customers to competitors with modern, transparent online experiences.
Problem Statement
What was broken — and what we built instead.
Before Revoway Platform
- No online quote system — customers had to call to get a price
- Manual pricing — inconsistent, time-consuming, error-prone
- No order tracking — customers didn't know the status of their shipment
- No admin panel — all order management done manually in spreadsheets
- No payment integration — offline payment collection only
- No SEO presence — invisible to customers searching online
- No blog or content — missing organic traffic channel entirely
After Revoway Platform
- Automated 3-step quote engine — customer gets price in under 2 minutes online
- Dynamic pricing via Google Distance API + vehicle identification API — accurate and consistent
- Full order lifecycle with automated status updates — Pending → PickedUp → Delivered
- Admin panel with quote management, filtration, column control, and payment tracking
- Authorize.net payment integration — bidirectional sync between admin and payment processor
- Headless CMS for SEO-optimized blog — driving organic traffic with structured content
Discovery
Research & Discovery
Before defining a single feature, I conducted full market research, competitor analysis, and user interviews to understand how US customers shop for auto transport services — what builds trust, what causes drop-off, and what competitors were getting wrong.

Execution & Artifacts
Quote engine
The Quote Engine — 3-Step Flow
The most strategically important feature. The entire conversion funnel depends on getting customers through a 3-step quote flow that feels fast, transparent, and trustworthy — then delivering an accurate price that doesn't change, connected to a real payment flow.
Step 1: Location
Carrier type (Open/Enclosed), Origin ZIP, Destination ZIP — captures the shipment route, calculates distance via Google Distance API.
Step 2: Vehicle Details
Condition (Running/Non-running), year/make/model via vehicle identification API, multi-vehicle tab system (+Add another vehicle).
Step 3: Contact
Email, pickup date, phone (+1), consent checkbox, Submit CTA — final qualifying step before the quote is processed.
Quote confirmation
Quote Summary & Order Confirmation
After submission, the admin reviews and sets the final price. The customer receives an email + SMS with a payment link. The quote confirmation screen shows the full order breakdown — vehicles, route, carrier type, service type, insurance, transit time, and total price.
Quote confirmation screen
"Innovative quote" explanation — actual market price, 10% service fee, no deposit until pickup. Order summary: 2 vehicles (2024 Acura MDX + 2022 BMW), carrier type Open, service Door-to-Door, insured, transit 1–2 days, total $600.
Admin panel
Admin Panel — Quote & Order Management
The admin panel gives the Revoway team complete operational control — every quote, every order, every payment status, every customer detail — searchable, filterable, and actionable from one interface.
Quote requests — full order list
Status (Pending/PickedUp/Delivered/Rejected color-coded), Original Price, Payment Type, Estimated Transit Time. Search by ID/Invoice/Email/Phone. Real production pipeline — e.g. ID 000803 Pending, ID 000758 PickedUp $3,000, ID 000687 PickedUp $1,390, ID 000680 Delivered $1,300.
Admin panel
Filtration, Columns & Content Management
Operators can narrow any list with field-level filters, customize which columns appear on the quote table, and manage SEO blog posts from the same admin environment.
Advanced filtration
Filter by Payment Response, Payment Type, Distance, Estimated Transit Time, Updated At, Created At, ID — with equals/contains/range operators per field.
25+ configurable columns
Column management: ID, Payment Response, Invoice Number, Status History, Carrier Type, Origin, Destination, Vehicles, Email, Pickup, Phone, Status, Original Price, Discount %, Company, Payment Info, Distance, Transit Time, and more.
Headless CMS — SEO blog
Posts management: Template Type, Featured Image, Category, Title, Slug, Meta Description, Content, Author. SEO-optimized articles driving organic auto transport search traffic.

Impact & Metrics
Approach
- Conducted full US auto transport market research — pricing models, carrier types (open vs. enclosed), deposit practices, and cancellation policies.
- Analyzed top US competitors — identified the 'instant quote widget' model as the #1 source of customer distrust. Turned it into Revoway's key differentiator.
- Designed a 3-step automated quote engine: Location → Vehicle Details → Contact — connected to Google Distance API and vehicle identification API.
- Specified Authorize.net bidirectional payment sync — paid in gateway shows paid in admin and vice versa, eliminating manual reconciliation.
- Architected the admin panel with 25+ configurable columns, advanced filtration, and full order lifecycle management.
- Structured a headless CMS for SEO-optimized blog content to drive organic search traffic.
- Managed delivery across 2 developers (FE/BE), 1 designer, 1 QA over 6 months in full Agile with parallel design and development cycles.
Outcomes
- 35% conversion rate — significantly above the US auto transport industry average.
- 830 monthly visitors within the first period after launch.
- 80% engagement rate across the public website.
- 8.5% CTR from organic search and direct traffic.
- Automated quote → order → payment loop — end-to-end without human involvement in the pricing step.
